What are your thoughts on refurbished video cards? Newegg's prices on refurbished video cards are decent, but I'm not totally sure I would trust a refurbished card...

Kind of a luck of the draw deal I guess. I have heard good things about newegg's refurb hardware though. Worth a shot if you see a good deal on something though.

I bought a referb GF4 4200 and it works great. I even got some of the original cables and stuff.
I wouldn't by anything mechanical referb (HDD).
And you may get no cables, documents or anything else.
I felt that it was worth the toss of the dice.

I was very tempted to buy another R9500 for $104. But I talked myself out of it, when I checked back about 2 hours later, it was gone.

I would definately buy a refurb from newegg, it's just a matter of finding exactly what you want and getting it in time. From what I've seen they usually update the refurb section about every other day from at about 1~3 in the afternoon Pacific time. I may be wrong, but thats what I've noticed.
