Gator gears up for IPO

Everybody's favorite adware company wants to go public and recently filed the papers to do so. It's now called "Claria", but it's still the same company.
Claria, whose advertising platform (or adware) has come under legal fire from multiple Web site operators, filed an S-1 document with the SEC, seeking to raise an unspecified sum through an initial public offering. According to its filing, the company said it had a net income of about $35 million on revenue of $90 million in 2003.

    How scummy can you get... I can't believe these people. They make $90 million using MALICIOUS SOFTWARE (oh they sure try to claim "value") and then they want the public to buy into it..
