App's windows opening in wrong monitor (dual monitor setup)

Lately FireFox has been opening all windows in the secondary monitor. They used to open on the primary, but I had to move them (by dragging over the title bar) to the secondary. Now all new windows open in the secondary, even after moving them back.

How could I fix this? Is there some sort of registry edit?

    I don't think a registry edit would fix that. Try temporarily disabling the secondary monitor. Doesn't Windows usually remember the last position of open Windows? If disabling the other monitor doesn't work, just open your program, drag it back over, and close it out. It should work...
