DVD Playback in WMP

I have tried MS Support on this, but could not find anything beyond Windows XP stuff, I need help with Windows 2000 Pro... despite their similarity.

Where can I get the decoder needed for me to play DVD's through WMP? Or a good free DVD Player?

    I thought WMP9 just has that functionality built right in.... :confused:

    nope you will need to install powerdvd or windvd, or their codecs. WMP9 uses thier codecs

    I believe the K-Lite Mega Codec Pack includes a DVD playback codec. Linkage
