memory compatability

Anyone know if these are compatable with an opteron?
I know it says specially engineered for athlon fx, but wasnt sure if it was just a marketing ploy.

    The easiest way to find out is check the mobo manufacturer's webpage.

    Is it registered? Check.
    Is it DDR? Check.
    Is it PC3200? Check.
    Is the Athlon FX an Opteron in disguise? Check.

    Must be Opteron compatible.

    thats what i figured thrax, but i just didnt want to jump ahead and buy it and have it not work. Ill check the manufacturer's website like shwaip said. thanks guys :)
