MFR has best detailed info. Essentially, they DO have publicly available info in Acrobat reader file form. Look for the links that say Product Specifications. Scott Mueller has the gift of using tech terms right in the right context, while not using ONLY techese. He has been writing and been respected in the IT community for well over two decades, among other things. Some of his writings are still in bookstores, with copyright dates of before 1986 on them. He was the lead editor of the old Microhouse tech specs encyclopedic reference, among other things.

Try getting his "Upgrading and Repairing PCs" book, and if you are a Sam's club member see if they have one of his books in stock-- that book comes with a DVD that not only has older book editions on it in electronic form, but videos on how to build and upgrade PCs (DO NOT put that stuff in its literal form online on your website, but the basic logic you can explain in your own words quite legally). I paid $25.88 for the latest edition, the 15th anniversary edition. With the DVD, it is not only a currently accurate book, but also a history reference library. You can use facts and figures on a website, just do not use things literally taken wholesale from other sites or you will end up with legal troubles if the site goes public and live. Write and build it as if it were going to be public, please, the exercise will stand you in very good stead in the long run.

John D.-- who will add that the first edition he got of this book was the second edition, in print form.
