Wow, i'm impressed.

I went and got the Corsair Hydrocool 200 for $450au.

I was using the stock AMD hsf that comes with the Barton 2500+.

My temps used to be around 55c Load (Cpu) and 40c (case).

But now they are around 34c load (Cpu) and 32c (Case).

Very happy.

Now i can overclock!!!

Wow, that's quite the drop. It's amazing how much the case temp will drop when there isn't this huge heat source just blowing the hot air off of itself.

There have been a load of web reviews about this unit and some conflicting arguments.

[h]ard and so reckon it stinks, overclockers.com and Toms said it was fantastic.

Temps are nice. Give us some pics and more information! (yes, I want one but Mack will kick me if I admit it ;))

    From that review:

Turbo setting. At the low setting, I could not get a reading for system noise 3' away with a Radio Shack sound meter - < 50 dBA. However, the noise you hear is not so much from the fan but the pump - sounds like a low humming noise.

At the Turbo setting, fan noise is louder - I measured it at 57 dBA three feet from the fan - not terrible, but definitely noticeable.

    Ehhhh....no.

It was soo easy to install.
Just add some paste to cpu, put waterblock on and secure, Add cables to pci board, then screw board in place of pci slot, connect quick conn's at cooler end, plug em in, plug data cable in, fill with water + coolant, then turn pc on, it will beeb saying "Fill", so add more water, then it's ready to go.

    Here are some Pics.

lookin good, the quality of the construction of the waterblock looks a little suspect... but hey, if it ain't broke.... :)
