stats at stanford and extremeoverclocking are down as I just noticed ...

when you go to the extremeoverclocking stats you get the Iraqi information minister ...like it's been hacked or something idunno.

    Yeah I got the Iraqi guy. I went to another team page and got the same thing so I figured they were down atm.

    This happened last week, too. Fark went on a recruiting drive and wiped 'em out for a while.

    Maybe this time it's all the points being turned in by the Team 93 faithful.

    They were ticked that their team was something like 223rd in the overall standings so they went on a recruiting drive. This was a week or so ago. It may be coincidental, but the stats server was down for most of the next day.

    The recent outage is due to Stanford switching their server location, if I understood someone else's post correctly.
