BLAH. What's the point of buying a G4 laptop? G3's are still the way to go: better performance on non-AltiVec tasks (everything except Photoshop), cooler operation, and lower power requirements = longer battery life, and cheaper. IBM released a new model recently, the PowerPC 750GX, which scales to 1.1GHz.
