Internet games don't work?

All of a sudden now I can't get a partner in online games ...it just sits there looking for another player.
Anyone else having this problem?

    start > all programs > games > Internet *

    Yep, I just tried reversi.. Looking for player == no go.

    i bet the latest ms updates have everything to do with that.
