Bootable CD with F@H?

edited April 2004 in Folding@Home
I have a machine which I would like to make into a dedicated folder. Are there any bootable CDs with an OS + F@H which I could use? I know it's been talked about in the past.

I dont think it would work because the F@H needs somewhere to write back to and obviously you cant do this on a CD.

Yes there is a Live CD Knoppix distro that includes F@H. It's called Overclockix 3.4. Here's a short description and link.

Disributed Computing features: Folding@Home 4.0, Seti@Home, and Prime95. Overclockix features a system of shell scripts to make using these DC clients simple. In addition to distributed Computing, there are 3 other Burn-in applications: Lucifer, Memtest86, and CPUburn. Put simply, the CD can be used to run Distributed Computing clients on machines without a hard disk, or can be used to burn-in systems on machines without hard disks. Development of SMP-capable scripts for DC clients has begun.
