"Halo" Designer Launches New Game Development Company

edited April 2004 in Science & Tech
The designer behind Halo, the best-selling video game for the Xbox, is launching a new game studio with less than a dozen core staff in a bid to find a leaner and faster way to design titles at a time of escalating development costs.
Chicago-based Wideload Games, from Bungie Studios founder Alexander Seropian, will use a core team to come up with game ideas and build working prototypes, and then go out and hire independent staffers to bring the idea to fruition.
