System clock

I seem to occassionally lose an hour off my system clock (as in when it's 11, it shows 10). I've always reset it back to the correct time as soon as I notice it, so I'm not sure if it would keep losing time or not, but it's always exactly one hour.

My original theory was that I had never done a manual reset since daylight saving time, so maybe after it started up after a lockup it was reverting to the last time it was set to, but it seems to be doing it while Windows is running.

I wouldn't think this is a battery thing, since it loses exactly one hour instead of constantly losing time. What else could it be?

System specs in sig.

Is the ADJUST AUTOMATICALLY FOR DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME checked in your system clock onthe toolbar. Also...check BIOS to ensure the time is set correctly then do the previous step.

    Hope this helps.
