Overclocking a 9800 Pro

How do you go about this? I've heard of ati tool but never played with itand don't know how to overclock it. i have a built by ati 9800 pro 128 meg, stock cooling. will i need to do anything with that?

    go to google and type in radlinker and download that , and use that to overclock.

    I like ATiTool better than Radlinker. But really it doesn't matter which one you use. They're both very simple. You know when to back off when you start getting odd graphical corruption that normally wouldn't happen at stock speeds.

    I'm not the one to ask about video card cooling, I've never used anything better than stock. But if you really want to get great speed increase out of it, I've seen voltage mods done to some video cards, but that requires good cooling. Requires some soldering though, I doubt you wanna go there. (I know I wouldn't...) And there's always a some chance your card may go b00m. lol

    yep, this is an awesome card. well, it's awesome so long as it isn't laying in a puddle in the bottom of my case :S. i'll check out ati and radlinker and play with 'em both. btw, how can u check temps on the card? or do you need a probe?

    you will need a probe for your 9800pro, but if u have 9800xt, they have it builtin.
