KT600, barton 2500 not working

im building a system witha kt600 barton 2500 "333" and 256mb of ddr400 from crucial ,when i powerup it gives me a long beep for about 3-4 seconds then automaticly powers the macine down, any ideas?>

    Heatsink is my guess. Check to see if it's mounted properly, and has the plastic protection slip removed.

    yea its down really good, i used the standard heatsink from the retail package

    on ther soyo website it said that the PSU is bad

    Told you it had to do with the HS.

    It's the only thing that can shut down a computer after a beep.

    *sigh* and thus the games have only begun

    i go to install winderz, bsod
    try different cd drive, bsod
    try new cd, bsod
    try another cd drive and cd, bsod

    diff sticks of ram, bosd or wont post

    yea its got 3, i dont really know how to arrange them the manual is really vauge

    Try one stick of RAM at boot, move it through each of the three slots on three different boots.

    Then do the same for each remaining stick of RAM.
