Is your home pag Yahoo or about:blank??? It is likely to be one of those two. what you delete can also, in this case, be determined by what home page you want and what you have. Not obly htat, but to block the Yahoo stuff you do not wnat and have Yahoo email is complex. You will need to blcok tracking cookies also in this case, if you have Yahoo as home page and also not want ti as home page. With what you have, here, I can best answer this partly as a best for you thing.

Given that, would start by experimenting and letting HJT backup what you do not want (by quarantining it), and deleting everything that has #1520 in it. Then, if results stink, ask how to recover the #1520 things. HJT has abackup feature and a way to recover things, and this is how I would start absent what you want being clear.

I know you do not like your current home page, and wonder if you want Yahoo as home page or not because the log makes me think that IS or should be the homepage given the way Yahoo has been commericalized recently. in fact if it somenthing else and you do not want that or the Yahoo page, tell us, or if it is something else tell what it is in address bar after you click the home button on browser and then what you want it to be as a URL-- figure out how to find that out by going to place you want to have as home page.

Question of class two for this thread, to you Peabody, do you know how to cut and paste across browser sessions and pages??? If not says so, and I will tell you how to do that and your job of telling us what happens and why you do not want it and\or what you do want instead will get a lot more easy with much less picky typing involved.

It goes to this page called C:\searchpage.html i have done lock my home page it still comes back. I dont want these because it is really annoying because when i try to go to a site it makes me click a link to go there and it wont let me dl things just takes me back to the page

The SO-CALLED "Osborntech Popup Blocker" is NOT one. IT IS something that sticks a search page on and locks you home page....

I wondered about that.....

I'll give you the link below, but follow exactly what it says to do and run CWShredder also and tell it just to fix. CWSHREDDER will pull some of it

But, here is how to get the rest of it with HJT.... And run both programs with box not on the web.
