Intel confirms Tejas, Jayhawk dead

The Inquirer has news on the cancellation of the next Pentium 4 Processor codenamed Tejas.
An Intel representative said: "We have re-prioritised our resources and we now no longer plan to produce the processor known as Tejas". Jayhawk, being the server equivalent, is also for the chopping block.
I guess the Tejas was too hot to handle.

I could say that inc is sponsered by AMD. Yet if you click the ad it leads you to Tyan's homepage so it's just a coinsidence that that ad appeared. Well it appears in other articles as well so it's not because AMD is mentined in just that article that caused it to appear. Very funny though. :D
