:woowoo: Two double gromacs workunits = awesome point production! (for me at least) This is the first time I've had two of them running at one time. Haha I'll hit that 3000 point milestone in no time! (Hopefully someone will notice this time! ;);D )

I wish I could run two clients at once with any reasonable sence of speed. If I set up two clients, I'm just slowing myself down until I get double double gromacs. It's not worth it.

    Alas.

lmao, what are you running, an Athlon? Athlons's don't exactly fold like P4's do. ;D I don't see how running two clients could possibly be slowing you down if you're running a hyperthreaded P4 at any speed.

It's a good thing I'm not overclocking now. My case temps average 91*F (33*C) and my cpu's temps haven't increased at all, even when average temps were in the lower 80's. It stays at 122-125*F (50-52*C) all the time, no fluctuating at all above or below those temps. If I were back up at 3.2, this machine would prolly shut itself down every other minute. lol Gotta love this stock heatsink! ;D

goodness, if you live in florida (judging by your sig) don't you have air conditioning?!

    Athlons, of course. Heh.

That is why I mourn not being able to run two clients effectively.

Rick, I am in Punta Gorda, FL. My Prescott is liking being at 66-68 C IT IS Oc'd, and is not rising nor falling outside that range, just working its HOT little self.

Temp in my room right now, with AC on in house, is 80.6 F. I am getting doubles, some Gromacs. Neat, aren't they??? :D What my boxes majorly hate are Tinkers. :(

Punta Gorda... Where's that? Prescotts handle heat a lot better than Northwoods don't they? I wouldn't DARE do anything to put my NW at those temps.
Yup, those gromacs and Dgromacs are great! I haven't folded a tinker since... I can't even remember now. I've had this -advmethods argument running and haven't gotten one of those damned things since.

I wish. lol It sucks for me here in broward county... You can't go too much farther south of here without hittin' the keys... sorta.
...and it's only gonna get hotter...

haha that blows, man. summers here are humid like a mother, and we don't have air condition yet, either, but we're moving soon! lol. so yeah summers rolling around, once it stops raining i'll see how this beast keeps up (folding right now at 41*C .. tho that is prolly low-balling it by quite a bit)

Yes, the P4's sure like the DGromacs, but these old TBirds will still run Tinkers like mad. Since I have removed the -advmethods and have been getting Tinkers my points have gone way up.
