Another goofy thing that CB wants to do...

Ya know how windows gives up those off-yellow boxes from the system tray, that show up with some likely unneeded message, but are not intrusive enough to be truly annoying?

Well:

I want to make my own.

I know that Outlook can be set up with schedules that will pop up a dialogbox to remind you of an appointment. But I don't want a dialogbox, I want a little yellow sys-tray box.

I don't mean just a mouse over... I want to be able to schedule these boxes to appear when certain events occur...

Like at a certain time, or when a certain program performs a certain action.

I know this is probably another one of those things that I want my computer to do, that is either impossible or impractical, but these things just pop into my head, and I figure that I might as well see if any of you's guys knows how to do it...

I don't think that he's looking for tooltips; I think he's looking for those damn annoying speech bubbles to pop up (like "help make office better" or "click for a tour of windows") on his command.

I think you need to write a program that minimizes to the section of the taskbar near the clock, and then there's gotta be something in the Windows API that allows you to pop up one of those speech bubbles.
