? about Add/Remove programs

Add/Remove Programs will not open on my computer at home. I'm running windows 2000 on the system. I tried to open it different ways and it won't open. i had the same problem before and i just resarted and it worked. I restarted and it still didn't open. Any suggestions?

    Do you get a specific message or a blue screen (BSOD) when you try to open it??? IF yes, please tell us what it says.

    Can you access it in safe mode?

    It doesn't say anything. I click on it and it acts like its working and then stops working and doesn't open. there is no message or anything.

    I didn't try to access it in safe mode. didn't think of that. i'm at school now. I'll try it when i get home.

    are there other user accounts on the machine that you could try with in safe mode?
