check your bios and make sure the memory is running at 133. it's probably set to 100

just for a faster bios cleaing, there should be a jumper ner the abttery that when u flip it, it clears the bios and u dont have to wait for the battery current to run out of the board, also have you tried other multipliers 133, 200 266?

My dad's MSI KT3V is kind of weird in the way you set CPU speed in the BIOS. Once you highlight the desired setting you need to press "enter" again to lock it in. I spent a few grim moments thinking I had some bad hardware when I first set it up.

Just a thought, are you sure you're actually locking in the settings you pick? :)

    What's the multiplier set at?

An XP2400 runs at 2Ghz, I believe, so at 133 multiplier would be 15.

Might be worth checking, just a thought.

another thing, make sure you have the latest bios for tha board. i had the same situation with my asus a7n8x when i upgraded to the latest bios and funny enough the only way to get my memory to run at 133 was to downgrade to an earlier bios. with the latest bios, my 2400+ would always boot up as an 1800+

Also, make sure your RAM is 133mhz capable, and not 100mhz capable.

It's not really emergency help is it...

Anyway, as the others already said, make sure you are using 133MHz capable RAM with a multiplier of 15.
