Intel Preps 1066MHz Processor System Bus for Xeon Chips?

It has been reported that Intel may have plans to introduce Xeon processors for 2-way applications with 1066MHz bus next year and is already talking to certain partners about chipsets with support for such PSB.
It is not clear whether Intel plans to enter dual-core processors with 1066MHz processor system bus or revamp some higher-end Xeon “Irwindale” chips to support faster QPB bin.

Dual-Core, is what was implied at WinHEC. Yes, that bus speed is what they plan on. I have this info MANY ways, all agree on those two things, not much more.

266 is easy via the DDR2 support that's supposed to arrive on both the Tumwater and Lindenhurst Xeon chipsets.
