Shortcut Masking on Website

I am using a sub-domain on my hosting site for a forwarded site address and would like to keep the actual site unknown to the user when browsing the sub-domain. When I set up my sub-domain, I chose to mask the site, which works fine in the address link bar. However, the status bar at the bottom reveals the shortcut (and thus, main domain) name when the cursor is run over links within the sub-domain site. I'd like the status bar shortcuts to be masked also.

That would be technically impossible as it is telling you where it is getting the information from which is pretty much the whole point in that bar, so unless you use some script to spam rubbish in to that bar instead, but any method of deciet is likely to annoy the user. You need some sort of hardlinked address in the form of shortcuts rather than masking because masking is just annoying.
