Please edit your post, and place the second problem in a second thread. Havingg 2 logs for 2 different computers in one thread is confusing, makes it harder to trouble shoot. One computer per thread please. They will both get looked at, I promise :)

    Dexter...

Cranglesmack, you have multiple malware\junk things going here. To fix without damaging other things, we need to take them one at a time.

Let's take what is called easysearch. easysearch.biz feeds all sorts of junk along with search results. It feeds junkware to make money. Anything with biz in name is there to make a profit for someone first and foremost. avoid biz sites unless you have a VERY secure browser. Very secure browsing means some sites will not feed right. If a site feeds you something that your browser queries about, say no unless you know what it is. ComputerKops.biz actually does not feed adware, it is one of the few that actually has folks who make a living helping to fix computers that get infected.

Go here, start by doing what is there. Rerun HJT and post new log, we will help kill what is left after doing that-- exactly as written. I can find links that remove parts, there is no one software for ALL at once reliably. HJT gives you what is running, the C:\WINDOWS\BCMSMMSG.exe progam as search led me here, this process makes sense. Once again, this is not the only thing running, I need to see another log when you are done and know what you see that annoys still-- restart computer, get back into a normal mode when done.

    http://www.thetechguide.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=10533

Thanks Crangelsmack, for separating the two boxes logs. doing this makes for less confusion and less time spent by the folks who are helping to clear up confusion. We need to be precise to fix without damaging other things. This is here for those who might be looking and want to post problems, also.

When you have multiple kinds of malware, very easy to delete good with bad accidentally. So, we are going to do it experimentally in part, let HJT show us what is left each time, and then deal with that. to help you figure out, I put in how I found this info. Google indexes millions of places on web, it has the ability to take something like C:\WINDOWS\BCMSMMSG.exe and list things with that exact string of text in it, and nothing before that in the listing that does not have all that exactly that way. The google folks are doing this deliberately so folks can figure out from logs what belongs and what does not. Note, the user that had a log there also had multiple things going, the fixer-helper fixed just one, wanted to see something to help him figure out what needed to be next done. Where it already has been done in a safe way, if wording is simple, I will give link to save server space here and to get fix to you faster.

You may need to delete in safe mode, you might want to copy this post to a text file, then print so you can read while not on web.

    Just a mild correction:

    O3 - Toolbar: &Radio - {8E718888-423F-11D2-876E-00A0C9082467} - C:\WINDOWS\System32\msdxm.ocx

That is the IE toolbar plugin for Windows Media. I recommend leaving that intact. If you have deleted it, you can restore it from HJT's backups.
