Firefox and Java

Running Windows 98. I just installed Firefox, but can't get Java to work. Had Sun Java (latest version) with IE. Tried to fix by uninstalling Java and then reinstall, but still will not work. When Firefox hits a Java application, it requests that I get the plug-in. That links to the Sun Java download, that I already have.

Sorry if this is a common question, but my search of this site did not reveal the answer.

    Download it from the firefox extensions or plugins page (cant remember which one)
