movies from computer to tv?

Im using my main box to watch a dvd then i have a 9800 pro hooked to my tv via s-video, but for some reason the tv looks kinda fuzzy (like snow) while the movie is runnig. any ideas why? thanks guys for the help

    I'm not sure exactly why the quality would change. I know DVDs sometimes don't get outputted to both TV and monitor. What exactly is the setup between the two displays? Extended desktop? Or is it just the one display, the TV?

    doesnt matter on any combination always fuzzy

    That's odd. I've never heard of anything like that. I've never seen a snowy picture through s-video either. You sure you don't have a bad cable? Try a different one if you can.

    What exactly is fuzzy and when? What does a regular video file look like?
