Spyware Blaster Error

I just downloaded Spyware Blaster, but everytime I go to install it, it gives me the error saying that either a virus or bad sector of hard drive. If someone could give me some kinda troubleshoot, it'd be most appreciated.

I had identical problem when my system was infected with CoolWebSearch. Once I got rid of CoolWebSearch, Spyware Blaster installed just fine.

If Vanagon is correct, then you should download CW Shredder from:
http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/downloads.html

Run it first, then try to install Spyware Blaster.
