Asus A7n8x deluxe video card compatability?

hey everyone.

i just bought an asus a7n8x deluxe motherboard. i don't know much about video cards. what is a good basic video card for this board? i won't be doing much gaming, mostly just regular home use.

This is what the specs say.
Expansion Slots 1 x AGP Pro/8X (1.5V only)
5 x PCI

So i guess i need some type of 8x board?

    Actually, it's backward compatible with 4X AGP standards. If you're not doing much gaming, a Radeon 8500/9100 would be quite sufficient for your needs. It's a 4X AGP card, but 8X AGP doesn't really give that much of a benefit over 4X... and for the money, the Radeon 9100 actually outperforms its AGP 8X brother, the Radeon 9200.
