Mobile A64's

Does anyone know if these http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=19-103-442&depa=1 are compatible with regular s754 motherboards? Specifically a MSI K8T Neo Rev 1.0?

I know with mobile xp's they will just boot at 6x multipler, however I'm trying to get this cpu and motherboard to boot and all that happens are the fans and lights turn on. No post, no beeps.

I'm guessing that this is a structural issue and not a bios issue?

Update... I looked on the msi bios update sitea nd it said "added support for CG version a64".

I then went to newegg and looked at this review
Ordered this the other day, upon delivery checked the label and indeed it's not as they list it at the site as follows: AMA3400BEX5AR ...note the "AR" at the end? it denotes the newer "CG" core of the A64, which has better thermal properties, not to mention new core stepping but I was ent the "AP" or "C0" stepping version. Props to Newegg of course for outstanding customer service which is second to none IMHO but I don't quite understand why they list it one way and send something different. Certainly not false advertising in any way I do believe, but a glitch in the way the web listings are worked. Consumers that spend xxxxx on a processor or other hardware usually are smarter than this and will notice the difference...

So when I get back to my friends house later on this week I'll check the stepping and post it on here... or else have him do it for us.

Say Al, I'm going to move this thread to the 64 bit section with a redirect here, maybe you will get more response there on the questions. :) I have no experience with any of the Hammers myself.

If you end up needing the cpu/mb checked out to make sure you know which is bad let me know as I'll do it for you for nothing if you pay shipping. I have a 3200+ amd64 in a msi neo also.
