i enjoy using swiffer wipes since they pick up dust from every damn spot.... but if im not mistaken... it uses static. Would it be smart to use inside a comp case?

A quick google search tells me it's an "electrostatic dry sweeper" so I would say don't do it.

Vacuum cleaner designed for computers, with clean filter, blowing out the reverse air flow port, with connected antistatic strap attached to wand(this last is optional if a good computer vacuum with a grouded plug is used, those are grounded in such a way that static is grounded also). OR, Air Can. No swiffer or wet swiffer-- except for outside of plugged in case, as case is bonded to PSU ground. Then, wet swiffer or wipe or paper towel if original paint job (bake-on lasts awhile even when rubbed by paper towel).

Last time a friend used a wipe inside case, nothing got staticed but two capacitors had legs resoldered before he was done(in this case, two halves of one leg rejoined with silver bearing solder for each of two capacitors).
