Saving WU before re-formatting????????

Big day ahead..or 2......or 3.

Today the AMD and replacement mobo,s arrive. The AMD is totally new equipment, so never folded.

To replace the Asus with Abit mobo's will require a re-format of the HD's, i believe so any ongoing folding on these HD's will be lost.

I recall reading somewhere about saving some files and re-instating them after a re-format. Just can't seem to find it.

If this is correct, could someone give us the method of doing this, please.

Thanks in advance

Jon A.

well, when i had to backup my f@h stuff during a storm (which actually did kill the power) all i did was copy the folder somewhere else. i believe, but might be wrong, that you can just copy the whole F@H folder and start folding right from there when you have your hard drives all set up again

Yes. Just copy the folder elsewhere and restore it when you're finished.
