I'm gonna have to go ahead and side with the ABIT camp. I've owned a few of their boards and aside from being super reliable and stable, they have also been great overclockers. The NF7-s is no exception and is probably your best bet right now if you plan on OC'ing or running an AMD sys period.
The A7N8X-Deluxe is also a great board. Its loaded with all the goodies you could possibly and I have yet to hear any bad things about it from the people I know who own one.
danball1976 said Oh, I would have added Asus, but there is a limit of 10 votes.
I'm willing to wager that Asus would get more votes here than either Chaintech or Tyan. Or FIC. Or MSI. In fact, Asus is probably as popular as Abit and Epox here. Asus was actually beating them on my "Which nForce2 Motherboard do you have?" thread on the old ICF, to the great chagrin of our Epox fans... :banghead:
So in lieu of Asus, I will vote for Epox, since I h8 Abit with a vengeance after what my last Abit board did to me... :mad2:
Of course, I guess I should forgive it since it caused me to buy an Asus!
I have an early rev. A7N8X(A2 stepping northbridge) and it won't run 200 fsb reliably. I just ordered an NF7-S 2.0 from excaliberpc, so I will see how it performs compared to the Asus board. The Asus isn't a bad board by any means, but doesn't have the overclocking options that the Abit has. I'll vote later, after I have some experience with the Abit board.
