Problem with malware; assistance kindly requested

Hi all, thanks for taking the time to help me with this problem. I sure am glad you're out there!

This darn malware keeps coming back; right now it's hijacking my Google page by placing a pop-up and a page of ads where Google page one should be. I don't have any idea what else it may be doing in the background, although I think it's attempting to launch itself thru emails as well, based on some messages I've seen.

    Welcome to short-media

    If you haven't done so already, please run adaware and spybot S&D 1.3 . They can both be found via the link in my sig. Make sure to update them before running.
    Then rerun hijack this and post a new log.

    If you have, just let us know and we'll see what we can find in that log.

    Thanks for the reply. I ran Adaware just prior to running HijackThis; it showed the malware "infestation". I just finished running Spybot at your recommendation, it only found a couple of cookies.

    kill these two entries:

    R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Connection Wizard,Shellnext = wmplayer.exe (this should point to some web address, not an .exe)

    (no file, no need ot have it)

    I'm having trouble finding problems with your log...normally that would be good, but since you're having problems, it's a little annoying :)
