Sata Problem
hey all atm im the most pissed off at a peice of hardware than ever if i dont resolve my problem soon that costly bloody new sata drive of mine will be detonated burnt then hit with a big hammer then droped off a large cliff .. then my dog will piss on it .... :banghead:
but if i sort it then i wont mind firstly my setup is ..

X2 512 coirsar ram value select
geforce fx5200
amd 3200+
western digital 80gb SATA hdd
westerndigital pata 40gb hdd
w2k up to date as of 06 05 04
right down to the probelm ... previosly i was booting from my pata drive and it was fine speed was not bad drive acess wise but now i have my new sata drive instailed and windows instailed on it its on a major go slow .. ive seen so many posts on the internet about sata drive s and there lack of workingness .. i can acess he sata drive etc but its very very slooowww evan playing music files itl opne up the file play about 30 seconds cut out for about 2 seconds then it will resume playing ive red and tried so many different things yet 0% have worked thus my fustration as if banging head agains#t wall :banghead: ive tired to instal the latest drivers of everything
... did they work did they heck .. i tried to copy a file over .. took about 13 mins for a small 47 mb file ... please somone save me from destroying my sata drive
