It really promotes team spirit.
Fold on.
It doesn't neccessarily have to be a computer item... or even a good item...
Just something.
Case badge, mousepad, pineapple, atm card...
errr, maybe not the last thing.
It's more of a token, a gesture... than something someone is actually trying to get.
Fold on.
now THAT'S the Short-Media renegade, tongue in cheek spirit.
A can of green beans.
(chuckle)
Fold on.
But to be serious non-computer items would work better. Food is interesting. It wouldn't work for international, but we can figure something else out.
Let's see what do we have here in Milwaukee that people might want, an H-D shirt? some cheese? real good bratwurst? beer is too heavy to ship.....
it'll cost $1.50 to ship a can of green beans.
(cough)
I volunteer to send out one myself.
A picture of the received prize needs to be a requisite.
This could be big, folks.
Fold on.
I'll pass on the beans, though...
So bumpity bump.
Now that's an idea! Send some sort of food product that you can't easily get in other parts of the country/world. I remember some shortbread cookies that I had in GB that were really good (nudge, nudge ).
I Think...That Jon and Sally should receive the first prize for outstanding performance and team spirit. Sally is really cranking out the work units. She has had some serious computer troubles that may have overwhelmed a lot of us. But with team support and hard work she has them all cranking again. I know Austraila is a bit far to ship food but , Ithink they really deserve some special recognition. A tip of my hat to Jon And Sally !
Just my 2 cents worth
Scott
As for prizes, hit up some of us 'old timers', local food or interest items sounds fun.
I wonder if Sally would like a foam cheese head?
