Newegg, Walmart Claim Doom 3, Halflife Not Too Far Off

According to retailers Newegg and Walmart.com, both Doom 3 and Halflife 2 aren't far away from release at all.
The sites list Doom 3 set for release on the 20/21 July 2004, and Halflife 2 on 02 September 2004. Exactly how reliable these dates are is questionable, since retailers and developers are always pushing release dates back and forth. Well, not forth.

    MAybe they are going to be packaging Doom 1 and Doom 2 together. Sounds like Doom 3 to me....

    EB had Doom 3 listed for June 16th for a while, then it went to July 21 a month or so ago. Carmack wants a summer release. I think we're getting pretty warm.

    I know for a while they sold Quake 1 and 2 with Quake 3. Since I've never played any of the doom games I guess that'd be pretty cool.
