I am at work. I want to access my home PC. I want to transfer files between here and there. How do I do that? Both PCs are XP Pro.

even shorter...
FTP
if all you want to do is transfer files then all you need is an ftp server. If you care to access your desktop etc then vnc.
For FTP I recommend Userve.. Its pretty simple to set up and you can custom configure user accounts for various levels of access.

Depending on the OS, you could use IIS.
