MSN Messenger 6.2 has been updated to build 0137. No apparent changes have been found yet, however some people have been reporting more reliable video conferencing over that of the previous build.

MSN Messenger is an instant messaging program that lets you send instant messages with cool emoticons, send pictures and other files to your friends, see when someone is typing a message to you, page a contact's mobile phone, and much more.

    I just installed this yesterday evening on my new laptop and it installs by default with a damn msn toolbar. :rarr: I was able to go in Add/Remove Programs and uninstall the toolbar separately from Messenger though and HijackThis showed no trace of the toolbar left after uninstalling.

    I hate it when an app installs something extra from what it is supposed to, but at least they made it uninstall the extra crap OK. :rolleyes:

    Well, I got the message from messenger to update to the newer version, which I did. I didn't opt for the new toolbar, etc nor make msn the homepage...there were little boxes checked...but I simply unchecked them before proceeding. Too often, we wll hit the NEXT button, without looking at what we are installing!
