The Chronicles of Riddick
After having played this game and beaten it this is my determination

1st; Graphics: All the characters are well done each is sporting his very own cuts, burns, scars, etc. The environments are well rendered and give the whole grame a very gritty, dangerous, and just the type of feeling you would expect in the toughest slam in the system.
2nd; Voice Acting: Every single person you talk to has his own unique voice so you can really feel the difference between them. All the accents are well done. The best voice acting is done by Vin Diesel who does the voice of Riddick. He delivers all of his lines in a very low growl with a good bit of sarcism mixed in. Only Diesel can deliver those kind of lines.
3rd; Storyline: The story is obviously you trying to excape butcher bay. Now I can't show all that much here without spoiling it for others so all I will say is that the story has it's twists and turns.
4th; Gameplay: Since you play from a first person perspective you can expect to go around shooting with several guns that you must aquire. Now there aren't that many types of guns laying around(hey whaddya expect, it's a prison) but the guns that are at your disposal are all well done and a joy to use. Before you even pick up a gun your first weapon will be your fists. yep, this is where this game really comes into it's own. You now have the option of fighting in the first person view with shivs, clubs, knuckledusters, and the old dukes. You can throw different attacks depending on which way you press the left stick. If you time it right you can execute a counter-move which executes your opponent quickly. There is also a stealth element in this game. When you crouch your screen will tint blue to tell you if the enemy can see you or not. While sneaking if you come behind an anemy you can kill him either loudly or silently. Also the weapon you are currently using will determine how you kill him. For example the shiv slits and the hands crack.
5th; Length: I feel that this game could have been a wee bit longer but the developers said they didn't have enough time to implement the things they couldn't squeeze in. It will keep you occupied for quite some time. Once you beat it just dive right back in and do it again and try to get all the smokes you missed. Smokes unlock extra content such as trailers and pictures and concept art.
Overall: This is an excellent and this has been by far the best collaboration between hollywood and the video game industry thus far. I would recommend playing this game. Especially if you are a Chronicles of Riddick fan. Whether you want to buy it or just rent I am sure you will not be disappointed.
