You guys are pretty awesome

I have sent multiple people now to this spyware/virus forum for help.

I am convinced that on spyware and adware crap you are the best on the web right now period, and that is high praise indeed coming from me.

And in the last 6 months the number of probs in this area has mushroomed and you guys are gods.

I mean it guys. Good Job. I know most of you from Icrontic and I had over 11,000 posts at Icrontic doing tech support and really the only gripe is sometimes........ you know you did a good job, and wish someone just at least stopped for a second and at least said "thanks man" a little more often.

Most don't realize they are getting free tech support worth $100 an hour. And a tiny thank you would go a long way.

Well consider this post to be one HUGE blanket thank you from all of us for your tireless efforts and hard work.

You guys are simply awesome. And I bow to your excellance.

Cheers

Tex

As much as I hate to agree with Tex ;), I have to...especially in this forum.

My browser got hijacked and though I didn't post here with my problem, I was able to get the answer and fix it by reading through the posts here.

    Great job guys! :)

I agree with Tex all the way!!!
Short-Media is always here and never fails ...thanks!!!

Especially thanks to Tex for teaching me how to set up my RAID stripe and also for recommending me to mushkin. My only regret is that I didn't listen a little closer on the RAID setup.

Anyway ...thank you short-media converts and thank you Tex!

I send dozens of people a month to this site just so I don't have to explain SVT removal to them. It's a great resource. :D

I'll add my Thank You to that list also. This has been my tech home and just plain fun site to visit for quite a while now. I have had the opportunity to interact and learn with the members here and it's been an extreme pleasure. Cudos guys.

Prime, MediaMan, Shorty, thanks for putting up this site. Thanks for all the behind-the-scenes work you have done, and the surface work. It shows in a real tail-kicking forum (and this site is unique in that what is kicked is the bad stuff almost only) and front page.

Mods, you folks do a good job, not perfect but I ain't perfect either and cannot be-- so I do not expect perfect, just best efforts, and that you folks DO accomplish big-time. Massively HUGE Kudos to all the staff!!! :D:D (Toothy, HAPPY, and HUGE grins)

I agree. I'm grateful for having found these forums. I wasn't referred by anyone, but I found it in a google search while looking up the stupid "bat global" tool bar. Most people find it an alternate solution to reformat their computer and reinstall everything and try to be more cautious from then on. But with help from the group that works with these forums, I don't have to worry about being cautions. I've been supplied with applications/programs that will help me fight off any infectionous crap that I may accidentally/unintentionally aquire. Thank you Short-Media.

By the way... You forgot Shwain. He does quite a bit around here as well :D

    aaah...my name...is shwaip ;)

also, I'm just a lowly mod/swat member... Prime/Media/Shorty are the owners of the site ;)

Seriously...I learned all I know about spyware and removal since this part of the forum came up. It's been a great help to me, my friends, and all those random people who search google for "omegasearch".

He's dang good here, yes, but to list all the staff by ID is beyond my typing ability.... :D

Welcome aboard as a MOD, Schwaip, you DO deserve it muchly!!! And to all the mods that make things run right around here, thanks again!!! I myself am too dang BLUNT and too poor a typist to be a mod, and not able to keep secrets well enough to know what NOT to post.... :D So, I hang out as a user who learns and reads at least as 3X as much as he posts here-- and does not have to keep secrets.

I'm grateful for all the help I've had here. It was Tex that got me interested in forums in the first place over at Icrontic. The help he gives out and the time he gives to helping people was inspiring. Respect to you all.
