New Asus A7V8X-X, all parts (RAM, CPU, Graphics) known Working, won't post in case, can't even get a visual out of case, lights and fan and switches seem to work. Am I just doing something wrong or is this board shot? :banghead:

Have you tried swapping out or testing the Power Supply????

No. Would it all power up if that was the issue? How might I test it?

Take it out of the case to see if it is somehow shorting out.

Tried Different PSU, no change... I think the board is toast.

What model and brand is video card??? Is this an older looking board or did it get dusty before this happened, if any chance this is so reseat everything three times(you are forcing a cleaning of spring pins and card\stick contacts by friction by doing this), contacts on sockets might be slightly corroded or dust covered, just anough to have the RAM and graphics not making contact well in sockets. Dust, cat hair, etc, can also cause no-posts, so take an air can (Walmart has them) and blow out the sockets. See your other problem thread, it is possible to ground-short drain CMOS battery, no power from that battery, NO POST.

Also, modern motherboards need a power-good satisfy signal to PSU to get PSU to power up and not power-up then power-down. Reversing the polarity of the power switch connections to case, reset switch connection, and in some cases LED connections, can cause a no-post. Putting the power switch or reset switch leads on an LED jumper block pair will sometimes cause a no-post also. NO power switch connection or reset switch connection can cause a no-post.
