Experiences with PM8

I gotta repartition my primary hard drive but it's filled with stuff I can't backup cause I don't have where to back up. I'm thinking of merging 2 partitions and adjusting the size of other 2. I've tried PM8 before but it didn't go to good. It gave me some error I can't remember and it didn't do the partitioning. I just want to know if anyone else has had any problems with PM8. If not then I'll try it again. I just don't want to lose my data.

I would try putting it on another partition before I start moving/changing partitions. I have used it before. Its messed up and its been a life saver at different times.

    Gotta keep the pr0n.;)

I seemed to have squeezed everything except movies to the 2nd HDD (80GB). Only 1gb left on it.

Defrag so everything is at the front of the drive. Then make a partition at the end of the drive, move your data over to there and you can work on the front/beginning part of your drive.

Delete anything possible like Temp files, and Temp Internet files. Might as well back up some stuff that should be backed up now like important documents. You can always put them back on the drive when you are done. Maybe that will save you some space.

Forgot to post but I already did it. Ran into some problems first. PM8 didn't want to resize the clusters. I deleted a partition, distributed the space into 2 partitions and moved some other partitions. All of that and I didn't even have to reboot.
