Nice camera. I have the A80. A handy addition may be a wide angle lens.

I'm almost positive I'm going to get the same model soon Bud, can you find any reason why I shouldn't? I'm kinda looking at the Fuji Film cameras as well, I've heard they are just as good as the powershot models.

Well it would be my first digital camera, so shots of pretty much everything. I've seen reviews all over the place for the A70, and I gather the 75 and 80 would be just like it. The only thing I'm not sure of is if the 60 would be good for me, but I kinda like having the better image quality. Is there really that much of a difference between 2 and 3.2MP shots?

i'd been noticing an increased price fluctuation on some sites. i was trying to check it out without directly asking you its cost. ;)

I'd highly recommend the A80 due to the flip out LCD screen. First reason..it protects the screen from scratches since it closes into the camera and second is that having the flip out/swivel screen is really handy for those awkward angle shots.

The A80 is dropping in price too. I bought mine for $513 CAD price matching a couple of months ago and now it's $499 regular (CAD).

Exif 2.2 (JPEG) is the only format it supports.

What exactly is a RAW picture, and does it have advantages over jpeg formats?
