Removal of Omegasearch

hi,

i'm new to the site and need a bit of help. read the threads on omegasearch removal and removed/fixed the entries as per the directions but mustn't have got them all. here is a hjt list after removal. thanks vey much in advance - great site!

Welcome to our little corner of the intarweb.

To remove omegasearch, boot into safe mode and remove the following with hijackthis:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Cash Mail] C:\PROGRA~1\gridcake\manager bib vc.exe

then, manually delete the folder c:\program files\gridcake

there are other resource hogs that you may eventually want to remove, but we'll just get rid of omegasearch for now
