Some new Omega drivers based on the ATI Catalyst 4.6 driver suite have been released.

The purpose of the Omega Drivers is to provide gamers with an alternate set of drivers, ones that have more options and features than the original sets. The drivers contain optimizations, extra features (like OC capabilities), more resolutions and internal tweaks that can give them the edge in a gaming enviroment over the normal drivers, which are often tailored for synthetic benchmarks. All Omega driver sets are tested (unless noted) by myself in my own PC or in an alternate PC (in the case of the nvidia drivers) to ensure maximum compatibility and reliability.

I don't use them myself, but I think they're safe to try yourself. If you don't like them, you can just roll back.

    Cheers :)

I've used Omega's drivers before, but I stopped when he changed the ATI logo in the ATI Control Panel into an Omega logo. That was just too much for me... although my change back to the stock drivers did coincide with my selling the Radeon 9500 Pro (Omega had several optimizations in there for the 9500 series of cards).
