usually the hijackthis log is more helpful, unless someone asked you specifically for the adware log. It should just be a .txt or something. You can copy and paste the text into a reply.

AdAware is pretty safe to use just to kill what it finds (HJT can kill things you do not want killed somethimes, it finds by Type, while AdAware is a definitional program and finds trouble specifically). With AdAware I just let it kill things-- anything it can ID, DIES. IF AFTER killing with AdAware you find you really want us to look at a log, restart, then run it again and see what file size the log is-- it will be a lot smaller. Kill what you can, then run HijackThis! 1.97 and post log from that. That log will be more compact in file size.

the ~1 means that it is a folder with a name longer than 8 chars, that starts with whatever is before the ~.

This should be done in safe mode to ensure removal :)

reboot, and post a new log.

WOW that was a lot of junk.

Also move the HJT File from your desktop into a folder like C:\HJT or C:\Program file\HJT. That way when HJT makes backups, they will not be all over your desktop.
