help me bvuy a new system
i live in canada so the price for this stuff is in cdn $$$
could some smart ppl tell me what they think of what i chose and what i could change. i like playing online games and need the ATI all in wonder card because i capture video and make video clips. I also play my guitar through the computer so i chose the soundblaster sound card. Also ill have 2 computers hooked up to the net and using one scanner and one printer so i got a router.

1)You may want to price out an equivalent AMD-based system, it will likely cost a lot less.
2) You want to buy a decent case and a decent power supply, look for something from antec that suits your needs and tastes, the generic stuff you buy from shops has a tendancy to crap out quickly.
3) If you do go with intel I believe you definitely want dual-channel memory (so 2x256MB or 2x512MB).
4) An SATA HD will outperform an equivalent ATA133 HD and its not that much more ($15). It also frees up an ATA slot for something else
5) Video card: the All in Wonders (AIW) are great, but if you plan on upgrading your video card later it may get in the way. If you are an avid gamer you'll likely want to upgrade. You can get a separate capture card and then get a Radeon 9600 Pro or something.
6) If you're doing video stuff you definitely want at least 1 GB of memory.
7) The P4 is good for many video editing tasks so if that's a primary purpose of this machine it may make the price premium worthwhile.
