    Welcome to short-media.

First, have you already run Spybot & AdAware according to this thread?

If so, then remove the following:

And finally, this one looks suspicious because that is a strange place to hide a nameserver, and also that IP is a local private IP, and might be the IP for your very machine, which means that one of the myriad pieces of scumware that you have on this box is acting as its own DNS server, and your network stack is told to point to it for various hijacks. I'd get rid of it if I were you:

    O17 - HKLM\System\CCS\Services\VxD\MSTCP: NameServer = 192.168.1.2

I would boot into safe mode, and delete, by hand, the following:

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\Services (there is no such folder in legit systems)

After all this, reboot and post another HJT log for us.

Thanks again for your quick reply. I brought the machine into work so I was hooked up to the DNS server here. I can't seem to get into safe mode on this pile of junk IBM?????

To boot into safe mode, hit F8 repeatedly after turning on your laptop

    That looks like CoolWebSearch, btw.

CWShredder is available via the link in my sig.

Run it after you remove the entries that prime suggested.
