Is this a virus or is it just something I set up

edited June 2004 in Science & Tech
My computer automatically brings up my c drive window whenever I log onto my computer. If so, can someone help me to turn it off?

Click Start, the Run and type in msconfig. This will show you a list of (most) startup items. Look for the culprit and uncheck it.

If that doesn't do it, run HijackThis! and post the log here. :)

    It's this entry:

    O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [MessengerPlus3] "\" /WinStart

get rid of these also, though:

(in safe mode, with system restore off)
