Switches

I need a new one. My Linksys kept dropping me and my part of the network so I ****ing destroyed the bastard! I beat it into little pieces.

I am running on a cheapo 8 port hub and I want a switch. Netgear, 3com good switches? No more linksys for me. I could never get it to work at home. For weeks I worked on it. Got a netgear and it worked right away. Now this. So I am never going to buy Linksys ever again even if they are owned my Cisco.

Any recommendations?

We are running a 16 port netgear switch. Worked immediately we hooked it up. Very strong build, just need to set it up in a different place as the ports and lights are on the same front panel. Our cheap/nasty 8 port switch had lights on the front and ports in the rear.

Sofar very happy with the Netgear switch.

The dlink 24 port switch I bought from Hotrodsun works fabulously. I have all dlink network gear and couldn't be happier. I had probs with my linksys router before and had to smash it into a thousand pieces so I know your pain.

We use Cisco routing equipment at school: No problem

We use Dlink wireless equipment at school: No problem.
We use Belkin wireless equipment at school: No problem.
We use Intel network cards at school: No problem.

In fact, the only brand that gives me **** is 3com.
